Which Trucks are Ford Super Duty®?
The Ford Super Duty Lineup comprises the F-250, F-350, and F-450 in six trim levels, from basic work trucks to luxury cruisers. The biggest difference between the three trucks is how much they can tow and haul. Generally, the equipment will be the same across the three models as you climb up the trim level ladder, and various packages are available to add the features you want, which offers cost savings so you are not paying for anything you don't need.
Trim Levels
XL
The XL trim level is great for a solid work truck with few frills. It's not exactly bare bones, as it comes with many standard features like remote keyless entry, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, vinyl upholstery, power windows & door locks, an eight-inch touchscreen, and more. However, it's not so fancy that it can't take bumps and scrapes.
XLT
Moving to the XLT will feel less utilitarian and more like an everyday personal truck. Cloth upholstery and carpeted floors, a power driver's seat, chrome details, rear privacy glass, and more standard safety and driver assistance features make it suitable for everyday driving, whether for work or recreational purposes.
Lariat
The Lariat trim offers even more comforts and is a first step into the high-end luxury trims. Along with leather upholstery, heated & ventilated front seats, memory driver's setting, 12-inch touchscreen, remote start, remote tailgate release, and more chrome accents, there are more add-ons available to upgrade the capabilities or tech features like the Tremor, FX4, and Ultimate packages.
King Ranch
The King Ranch trim is one of the top three luxury trims with a unique vintage cowboy style. Top features include Co-Pilot360 2.0, a head-up display, power deployable running boards, 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate, and wireless charging. There are few options left to add as almost all the bells and whistles are included at this point.
Platinum
The Platinum trim level offers the same features as the King Ranch with a design that is less southwest and more uptown. Chrome accents, satin aluminum exterior trim, and matte black wheels create a classy vibe to go along with all the creature comforts.
Limited
Limited Super Duty trucks represent the best of the lineup with the most luxurious and high-end features available, including a dual-pane power moonroof, suede headliner, and two-tone quilted leather upholstery.
